The firm's competition and regulatory team is regularly called upon to advise on the most complex and high-profile competition cases domestically and internationally. The team includes market-leading practitioners with expert industry knowledge across a wide range of sectors. They act on the full range of competition law matters, including merger clearance, cartels and other investigations/litigation and infrastructure regulation. They also advise on dominance issues, joint ventures, distribution arrangements, marketing initiatives and industry regulation, working in close partnership with their clients to achieve their commercial objectives.
The competition and regulatory team is seeking candidates who are real team players with demonstrated competition law experience, ideally in both advisory and investigation/contentious work. Candidates should have experience in private practice and/or experience working with a relevant regulator. Candidates should also be comfortable supervising more junior solicitors and should also have strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in competition law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work.
- Candidates should have the ability to work both on their own initiative and as part of a bigger team.
- As a mid-level Solicitor, you will be comfortable both with supervising junior solicitors/graduates as well as working under a Partner or Senior Associate.
