This is a great opportunity for a confident employment lawyer to join a FTSE 250 transport company as their first Employment Counsel.
Reporting directly into the Group HR Director you will be responsible for advising various HR Directors across the group and its subsidiaries, assist with ACAS mediation, and manage a variety of employment matters relating to discipline & grievance, performance & capability, and occupational health. You will also deal with employment tribunals, employee relations, TUPE, and a range of other ad hoc matters.
You will ideally be a minimum of 3 PQE with strong experience across a range of employment matters, either in-house or in private practice. The role has a high level of autonomy so you should be keen to manage your own work, scope out the role for yourself, and be comfortable developing and implementing your own processes.
