Senior/Legal Counsel

GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS – SENIOR/LEGAL COUNSEL – LONDON

An excellent opportunity for a mid-level lawyer to join a fast-growing global company as Senior/Legal Counsel in their UK & Ireland legal function in a broad commercial role.

The company are going through a growth period with some exciting developments occurring throughout the year; the role has been newly created to navigate this territory.

About the role;

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be primarily responsible for providing advice on a wide range of legal matters across commercial, corporate, telecommunications, data protection and other general areas. This broad role will also require you to support on various projects within the business, as well as working closely with colleagues in other departments.

About you;

You will need to have between 2-6 years’ PQE with good commercial contracts experience. A background in telecommunications/technology would be helpful though is not a prerequisite. Alongside exposure to commercial work, the ideal candidate will be confident and have a great sense of humour. With legal being seen as a trusted advisor, it is important the person can liaise with stakeholders and other lawyers, as this will be a large part of this role.

Operating within a lean legal function you will have independence and autonomy in a friendly and collaborative legal team. You will also benefit from hybrid working between their London HQ and your home office.
