Senior Real Estate Solicitor
Great opportunity for a senior real estate lawyer with at least 7 years PQE corporate occupiers experience to join one of the UK’s largest real estate practices.
Our client is an international firm with one of the world’s most established multi-disciplinary real estate legal teams.
This opportunity sits within the Specialist Real Estate Services team, who undertake a fantastic range of general commercial property work including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, certificates of title and landlord and tenant transactions, working alongside a number of the firm’s most high-profile clients. The team is well known for delivering commercial, efficient, and creative advice to its clients as a trusted advisor.
The role will primarily focus on corporate occupiers work incorporating land acquisition and disposal (freehold and leasehold) together with landlord and tenant transactions for clients including retailers, manufacturers, leisure operators, infrastructure companies and general corporate occupiers who require office space. There will also be scope to undertake work in other parts of the wider team including energy and infrastructure and corporate support transactions.
The day to day role will involve working as part of a busy team, supporting and working closely with a partner and independently providing advice to occupiers on the full remit of real estate issues, both in respect of landlord and tenant related work, the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold land and other general commercial property. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to think creatively as well as demonstrating excellent understanding of land law and they will be willing to get involved in transactions they may not have previously had experience. The candidate should be capable of leading as well as supporting on transactions and advising a client on commercial risk.
The role will also incorporate supervision of juniors and assisting the partner with team management.
