The value you'll add

In this role, you'll lead the risk and compliance function across APAC, but your day job will be managing risks relating to conflicts and ethics, and ensuring compliance with associated international standards. You can expect:

  • A seat at the Australian leadership table
  • A key role in delivering strategic advisory and operational changes in the firm, and a platform from which to market your team's "value-add" to the business
  • To advise the partnership on whether business can be developed based on potential commercial conflicts, or ethical risks
  • A captive audience when advising on broader risk and compliance issues in the firm and the legal sector
  • To have your hands full with various transformation projects based on regulatory changes, and developments in case law
  • To collaborate with the broader back office team to ensure integrity, market-leading service and efficiency across the firm
  • To improve the firm's compliance culture through education and remediation
  • A talented team to coach and develop

  • Tech-focused and change-orientated
  • An understanding of international legal codes of conduct (particularly relating to the SRA) would be highly regarded
