Senior Legal Manager – Top Tier DCM Practice
Market leading DCM (Debt Capital Markets) practice of this reputed law firm seeking a Senior Legal Manager (with clear track to Associate), who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced growing environment.
Drawing upon excellent product knowledge, geographical diversity including a strong mainland presence as well as internationally qualified lawyers, the team provides solutions-focused, high quality and pragmatic advice to issuers and underwriters across a broad swathe of DCM work. Both local, and global offerings include high yield bonds, investment grade issues, emerging markets issues, regulatory capital issues, debt issuance programs and private placements. They are considered as one of the market leaders for legal advice on investment grade debt and high yield debt.
What you will be doing:
- Assist Partners and Associates on execution of debt capital markets transactions
- Draft and prepare legal documentation (i.e., transaction bibles, articles of incorporation, resolutions, agreements, correspondence, closing sets etc.)
- Handle internal filing of records
- Liaise with various parties e.g., professional bodies and counsel from different jurisdictions
- Conduct due diligence work on the listing applicants as well as related regulatory issues
We are looking for:
- 1-4 years of experience gained within a reputable regional or international law firm doing ECM/ DCM work, with strong drafting skills
- Excellent language skills, including written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, are essential
- HK qualification is not required; other common law qualifications will be considered
