Our client is a diversified property developer and hospitality operator with a focus on property development, investment, and hotel management across key markets globally. They are looking for an experienced general corporate/commercial lawyer to join the team.

This role offers a fantastic chance to join a respected, stable legal team, collaborating closely with commercial stakeholders to deliver legal guidance and support on a broad range of matters.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts relating to the group’s activities
  • Supporting the group’s M&A/JV transactions across the region
  • Managing external counsels on special projects or key practice areas (Data protection/Intellectual property/Diputes)
  • Provide guidance to and supporting the corporate secretarial team on corporate governance or listing requirements

Requirements:

  • LLB or JD from a recognized University, admitted to the bar in a common-law jurisdiction
  • 12+ PQE handling general corporate & commercial legal matters across the APAC region
  • Experience in CRE practice area or adjacent industries would be most ideal, familiarity with managing full-cycle M&A deals would be essential
  • A committed individual with excellent stakeholder and communication skills
