Senior Legal Counsel
Exciting Opportunity for Senior Legal Counsel!
Our client, a prominent organisation based in North Yorkshire, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide strategic legal counsel to support operations in Great Britain and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise senior leaders on legal matters, acting as a trusted partner
* Support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions
* Provide day-to-day legal guidance across various business units
* Negotiate and review commercial contracts, mitigating risks effectively
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage special situations
* Contribute to the development of corporate policies and compliance programmes
* Offer legal counsel on employment matters and support HR functions
* Manage relationships with external legal counsel
Qualifications:
* Minimum 7 PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in corporate/commercial law
* Preferred experience in international manufacturing or FMCG industry
* Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
* Excellent drafting and communication abilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
