Our client is a UK household name in media and entertainment. The business is looking for a Senior Legal Advisor within their media division who will provide legal support to the Partnerships & Distribution and Streaming teams particularly in relation to the licensing of content including its channels, VOD applications programmes.

In this role you will develop and maintain a network of relationships across the business as you negotiate and advise on key agreements for the distribution of digital content services with its major partners. As the point of contact for the partnerships and distribution team you will provide legal and commercial support on distribution of all the businesses TV products.

To be successful you will have sound experience within an in-house environment, however, candidates from a private practice background will also be considered provided you have experience in the relevant sectors (e.g., distribution, content, TV). Experience of leading negotiation and drafting of agreements for the distribution of content and software is essential.

You will be given autonomy to work and develop relationships across the business and externally. You will have excellent negotiation skills, be a natural communicator and a self-starter who closes deals.

You will report directly to the Head of Legal and sit in a sizeable legal team.

This role is London based and would be ideal for a candidate of 3 years PQE+ who is looking for a new challenge and wants to work in a creative, dynamic and supportive environment. A hybrid working model is in place.
