Senior In-house Lawyer
A leading offshore law-firm based in Jersey are hiring for a Senior In-house Lawyer with strong compliance expertise to join the General Counsel Team. In this unique role, the successful candidate will work with the Chief Legal Officer, offering legal and governance guidance across the firms’ various partnerships and entities.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Manage and maintain the firm’s commercial and corporate contracts (terms of business, letters of engagement, NDA’s, supplier and outsourcing contracts, panel terms etc.)
- Respond to client and intermediary due diligence inquiries and legal & regulatory affairs
- Provide support to the firm’s internal corporate governance arrangements
- Assist with ensuring regulatory requirements are met for the firm and data protection queries
Requirements:
- A qualified lawyer is England & Wales
- A practical understanding of corporate law is preferred, and in-house experience gained within a regulated environment would also be advantageous.
