Senior Commercial Counsel

Excellent senior opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a successful gaming / gambling business.

Working with and managing your direct report, you’ll support the highly successful, licensed venues, arm of the company, whilst also providing ad hoc support on their digital operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements including marketing, sponsorship and gaming contracts
• Advising marketing on promotional activities as well as IP issues and the Group’s trademark and domain name portfolios
• Advising on gaming regulatory matters (working alongside an existing Compliance Team)
• Advising on general commercial and compliance matters e.g. data protection (alongside a DPO)

The best suited lawyer for this role will be outgoing, charismatic, and keen to interact with the existing legal team and wider business. You’ll work in an office with a great buzz and around 200 employees!

Ideally, you’ll have worked both in private practice and in-house with around 5 years’ experience but we’ll be open to considering applications from ambitious, UK qualified commercial lawyers who may not be an exact match to this brief.

Please note this is a mid-senior level role that will require managing a direct report. You’ll also work hybrid between your home office and their base in Berkshire.
