We are working with an international Law Firm who are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Corporate Governance Advisory Team in London on a 6 – 9 month FTC.

Working with boards, general counsel, company secretarial and legal teams, this individual will be required to draw on their wide-ranging experience to advise on legal and regulatory requirements, emerging trends and market best practice with a wide ranging number of clients, particularly in the listed space.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advice on compliance with the UK Listing regime including obligations relating to inside information, market disclosures and share dealings
  • Training and practical advice on directors duties;
  • Advice on directorate changes and new director inductions;
  • Issues relating to audit, the audit committee and the appointment and removal of auditors;
  • Assistance preparing for, calling and holding shareholder meetings, including AGMs;

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor
  • Have significant company / corporate law experience from a major city firm
  • Ideally have experience working with / for a UK listed company

This role offers hybrid working with the expectation to be in the office 2 – 3 days per week (usually Monday – Wednesday)
