Reinsurance Legal Counsel

Global reinsurance broker seeking junior to mid-level Legal Counsel to join highly regarded legal team in London.

This is a varied role offering the chance to work closely with the business across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The Legal Counsel will give strategic and commercial advice in relation to a range of substantive legal matters including regulatory, DP, dispute resolutions, corporate, projects, and employment as well as managing a caseload of contentious matters.

The ideal candidate will have a litigation background and experience of (re)insurance from a top tier City law firm and/or in-house.

This will suit an intellectually curious and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. A calm and proactive attitude is important in this collaborative team, so the ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
