Real Estate Solicitor – Asset Management
Great role for a 1+PQE real estate lawyer looking to work at a leading national law firm in Birmingham. Our client is a highly regarded national practice with an established and thriving real estate practice.
This opportunity would ideally suit an NQ-3 PQE solicitor who can demonstrate an understanding within the following areas of real estate work:
Investment Sales and Acquisitions
The Team acts for property investment funds and other institutional and family office landlords on the acquisition, financing, management and sale of numerous property assets. Projects range from large portfolios to quirky one-off buildings. Some experience of assisting on transacting investment acquisitions would be welcome along with an ability to quickly and succinctly analyse due diligence information, produce title reports, and provide pragmatic commercial advice.
Asset Management / Landlord & Tenant
Experience of drafting and preparing leases, agreements for lease, licences to alter, licences to assign and general asset management work is essential. The Team acts for major landlords and tenants across all sectors (retail, office, industrial) and experience of assisting on transactions for both would be beneficial.
Corporate and Banking Support
The Team also supports the corporate, banking and restructuring units with the property aspects of corporate sales and acquisitions. Experience of assisting with corporate support work – including drafting and negotiating suites of warranties, disclosure letters and business purchase agreements – would be useful but not essential. Some knowledge of acting for borrowers in connection with property financing and refinancing would also be of assistance (including the drafting of certificates of title).
In return the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and great benefits, excellent training and support and the opportunity to work as part of a friendly, innovative and collaborative team.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
