Real Estate Lawyer – Development, RE Investor
Our client
A leading global real estate investor is looking for a 5+PQE Real estate lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. This business has achieved remarkable success in Europe, growing from zero to billions in assets within just three years of operations. This is truly the beginning for them as they are on a high-growth trajectory with a strong development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working on cross border initiatives supporting the business on a variety of matters. Some of the work you will be involved in will include:
- Providing transaction execution support on high value RE deals on development projects and joint ventures. The successful candidate will also get the opportunity to be involved in acquisitions and leaseback transactions.
- Managing and assessing legal and transactional risks for complex deals.
- Draft, negotiate, and reviewing complex legal contracts such as shareholder, development, development management agreements and other legal documents between them and their developers.
- Presenting to the board on the status of transactions, providing input on the growth strategy and general market intel.
- Liaising with external support when required
Qualifications:
- 5+ years* of experience as a real estate lawyer in a leading law firm or equivalent in-house.
- Experience working on development projects and joint ventures would be highly advantageous for the role.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical, business-friendly solutions.
