Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Real Estate Finance Associate/Senior Associate to join their highly regarded Banking & Finance team in London. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions across a range of asset classes, including both investment and development financings. This role offers the chance to engage with high-profile clients and manage significant transactions on both a national and international scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising Clients: Provide comprehensive legal advice on structured real estate finance transactions, focusing on investment and development projects across various asset classes.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee complex financing transactions from start to finish, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including banks, insurance companies, alternative lenders, and developers.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation for a variety of real estate finance deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader Banking & Finance team and other departments to deliver thorough and effective legal services.
  • International Work: Participate in cross-border transactions, leveraging the firm’s extensive global network to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate finance.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-border real estate finance transactions, particularly in investment and development financings.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to handle complex transactions effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working within a team-oriented environment.
