We are currently seeking a talented and driven Real Estate Finance Associate with 2 to 4 years of PQE to join our client, aglobal law firm, in their London office. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions across a variety of asset classes and jurisdictions.

Role Details:

As a Real Estate Finance Associate, you will be part of a dedicated team within the firm’s Global Banking & Finance and Global Real Estate practices. Your role will involve advising a diverse range of clients, including sponsors, lenders, and property developers, on a variety of asset classes such as hotels, data centres, build to rent, logistics, student housing, and commercial properties. You will work on cross-border transactions and development finance, as well as other financing transactions including acquisition finance, corporate lending, and restructuring.

Your responsibilities will include managing complex cross-border property and portfolio financing transactions, sales of performing and non-performing loan portfolios, loan modifications, refinancings, workouts, loan syndications, and participations. You will also collaborate closely with tax colleagues to provide structuring advice, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless service for clients.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified lawyer with 2 to 4 years of PQE, having gained experience in a leading City or international firm. You should have strong technical skills in real estate finance, excellent academic credentials, and a practising certificate. Experience in cross-border transactions and development finance is highly desirable. Key attributes include excellent communication and drafting skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage complex transactions.
