An opportunity has arisen at a fast growing international insurance company, to join the international Product Development team. This role will report to the VP of Product Development – Continental Europe. Because the company is growing in the region they are looking to expand the team.

About the role:

The Product Counsel will join a team supporting the European businesses of the company, being active in 8 countries in continental Europe, as the company grows, so does the need for high level internal technical resources.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, creation and management of proprietary products, support for Multinational Business, review of external products, development and maintenance of form libraries and clause and endorsement banks, keeping up to date with relevant market wording developments and providing training to the business on wording issues.

About you:

You have a degree in law, preferably French law;

You have 5 years or more of legal experience, ideally in an insurance company or broker product team, a claims team or an underwriting function. The seniority of the role will be adapted to the candidate’s experience;

You possess strong technical drafting skills;

You are detail oriented;

You are comfortable negotiating products with external and internal stakeholders;

Fluency in English and native/bilingual proficiency of French.
