M&A Legal Counsel, Manchester/Edinburgh, 2+

Our client is a global wealth manager looking to appoint a Corporate M&A Legal Counsel to its Group Legal function in Manchester or Edinburgh.

In this role you will advise on a wide range of corporate work, strategic M&A activities for the group, disposals, minority equity investments in fintechs and other strategic initiatives and general corporate services matters.

You will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have 2-4 years’ PQE and be looking to relocate to Manchester or Edinburgh.

This role would suit a transactional M&A or Private Equity lawyer looking for their first In-House role, secondment experience with a bank or other Financial Services firm would be ideal.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded corporate M&A lawyer to join a collegiate and friendly legal team and advise at strategic level.
