Our client is one of the elite offshore law firms with a long heritage in the Caribbean and an exceptional reputation around the world. They have strong relationships with the leading onshore firms in London and New York and as a result are instructed on some of the largest and most complex disputes to go through the courts in the region.
The firm's global disputes team is spread across Asia and the Caribbean ensuring that they are able to advise on offshore matters around the world. The Cayman practice typically comprises a mix of corporate litigation, financial disputes, and contentious insolvency matters before the islands' courts. They are looking for an experienced partner with an established reputation in one or more of those areas to join their team.
In order to be considered for this role you will:
- Be a UK qualified solicitor or barrister;
- Be a partner at a top 20 UK or international law firm and have been made up in 2013 or earlier; and
- Have broad commercial / chancery litigation practice.
