FS Litigation Paralegal – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an experienced Litigation Paralegal seeking an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious international law firm in their London office? Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting with high-profile FS Litigation matters and providing support to a busy team.

In this role, the successful Paralegal will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases.
  • Coordinate trial preparation activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external counsel both within the UK and globally.
  • Sight-check and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain document, transcript, and work product databases for easy retrieval.
  • Write concise memoranda summarising research results.
  • Assist with document review and disclosure.
  • Organise and prepare chronologies, disclosure lists, exhibit lists, and privilege logs.
  • Coordinate work with outside vendors, adhering to strict deadlines.

To thrive in this role, you should have at least 12 months of paralegal experience in a law firm or equivalent, with at least 6 months of litigation experience. A degree or equivalent experience is essential, and an LPC qualification is preferred. Strong written, editing, and verbal communication skills are crucial, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to conduct effective internet research are essential in this fast-paced environment. Your flexibility and ability to handle multiple projects with or without direct supervision will be highly valued.
