Taylor Root has been exclusively instructed to find an outstanding Legal Operations Manager for an incredible and leading not-for-profit organisation focusing on climate change and environmental issues worldwide.

As part of this truly global business, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating day to day operations, whilst improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal function’s processes and workflows.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all operational aspects of the commercial, legal team including legal technology, contract and knowledge management.
  • Assisting the legal team to understand, define and implement strategic objectives and key performance indicators related to efficient legal operations.
  • Developing and implementing processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal operations, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Managing the optimisation of legal workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Assessing and evaluating legal technology solutions. For example, contract management systems, document management systems, to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency and productivity.

The successful applicant could be unqualified or a qualified solicitor who has specialised in legal operations.

Strong experience of legal technology (including Juro or similar equivalent) is essential.

Strong experience of building close collaborative working relationships with international commercial teams is crucial. Strong legal operations expertise is also key. You will be approachable, a great communicator and demonstrate excellent judgement and pragmatism.

The role is permanent and full time, and the business offers great flexibility with good hybrid working in an adult, self-driven working environment which is judged on your output and delivery. You will be part of a commercial legal team and report to the Director, Legal (Commercial).
