Your New Company

Our client is a world leading PRC-based conglomerate with a comprehensive operations across multiple sectors including logistics, health care, technology, gaming and e-commerce. Due to business needs, the client is currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its corporate team here in Hong Kong.

Your New Role

You would mainly be responsible for providing daily operational legal support to corporate matters globally, including cross-border M&A transactions, financing and investment projects, listing rules and corporate compliance, strategic planning as well as a full range of business and commercial legal affairs across the Group. This role is excellent for senior lawyers with no prior commercial experience to make their first move in-house.

What you will need to succeed

To qualify for the role, you MUST be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 10+ years' PQE in M&A and general corporate matters from a top-tier US/Magic Circle/international law firm. You MUST have excellent command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin) with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
