Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel
Excellent opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join an organisation that truly make a difference. This opportunity is within a not-for-profit that sits in the healthcare / life sciences / innovation sector. You’ll join a great team, and work to support a Trust commercially either in the running of the organisation, or within their innovation arm.
We are exclusively partnering with a truly incredible client; they have been at the forefront of medical progress and innovation since they were founded and are currently expanding their legal team.
Role Overview
This role will have a broad focus and due to the nature of the work would best suit someone from a commercial, technology, or life sciences background.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing highly specialised advice, drafting and negotiation of commercial and regulatory matters.
- Supporting the legal team, and eventually managing a direct report
- Leading and supporting further development of the commercial and legal risk infrastructure
As this is a newly created position, we welcome applications from junior and mid-level lawyers (approx. 1 – 5 PQE). Ideally, you’ll have worked within a commercial, technology, or life sciences role. Although this is within healthcare, a commercial acumen is very much required, as the focus is within innovation.
You’ll need to be able to establish relationships with senior stakeholders as you’ll be liaising with research facilities, educational establishments, and clinics.
