I have been exclusively instructed by a leading global investment firm who are looking to hire a legal counsel with a restructuring or corporate/M&A background to join their Credit Legal team.
The role will be working closely with the investment teams across the business to provide guidance and assistance on fund deployment and transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic in-house legal team in a newly created role supporting the growing European business with a focus on expanding coverage for the European Credit investment team and mitigating franchise risk associated with complex fast paced investment activity.
The successful candidate will have a strong background having trained and qualified with an international law firm, ideally as part of a recognized restructuring or corporate/M&A practice, and be familiar with restructurings, governance structures and leveraged finance and equity arrangements.
The role would suit someone who would thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and fluid environment, and who would be willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
