A reputable Pharmaceutical Company is looking to recruit an experienced Lawyer to join their team as Legal Counsel for a FTC of up to 12 months.
They are looking for a motivated individual to serve the Legal and Compliance needs of the business, supporting operations across all regions. The successful candidate will have a commercial outlook and demonstrable experience working in the area of Compliance. Experience with and/or understanding of corporate compliance issues confronting the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or healthcare industry generally, is expected.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct;
- Periodically reviewing and updating regional corporate business policies to ensure continuing relevance in providing guidance to management and employees;
- Supporting global anti-bribery/anti-corruption efforts, including managing the due diligence program relating to the organisation's partners and distributors;
- Managing ongoing maintenance of various healthcare compliance program-related activities and requirements, including but not limited to review of aggregate spend disclosure reports; activity reports; monitoring; and investigations.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Lawyer in Ireland/England and wales or any major jurisdiction and will ideally have experience working in a Pharmaceutical/biotech company.
