Your New Company

Our client is a leading multinational company listed in the US. The client focuses on developing and manufacturing biophamectuicals with the aim to treat patients, mostly children, suffering from diseases. Due to rapid expansion of the APAC business, the client currently has a new headcount for a Legal Counsel to join their office here in Hong Kong.

Your New Role

You would mainly be responsible for providing daily operational legal support to business functions, including drafting and reviewing legal contracts, working with commercial BUs to help in developing products, providing legal and compliance training for internal stakeholders, as well as keeping current with evolving relevant legal and business issues across. Occasional business travelling (10%) is required for this position.

What you will need to succeed

The ideal candidate is a Hong Kong or common law qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE private practice and/or in-house experience. Prior experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences/healthcare/medical devices/biotech is highly preferred. APAC exposure in Greater China region is a definite advantage. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin) is MANDATORY for this position.
