Legal Counsel – IT/Tech – Financial Services

Our client is an Australia financial services institution who is seeking an IT/Tech lawyer to draft, negotiate and advice on a full suite of commercial technology contracts including complex and high value technology cloud, license, service and software agreements.

You will further provide legal advice and counsel on a wide variety of commercial matters, including intellectual property, licensing, data privacy, and license compliance matters.

The successful candidate will also have the ability to assist the wider legal team on corporate matters including M&A transactions, corporate restructures, intragroup funding arrangements and annual disclosure reviews as well as banking projects across long-term funding and capital markets transactions.

Preference is experience and expertise in negotiating key terms for Cloud Agreements. This position would suit a legal counsel with two to six years post qualification experience.
