For our client, a renown global investments company, we are currently recruiting a Legal Counsel to join the Legal department at their German HQ in Frankfurt am Main. The core business of the client in Frankfurt is Asset Servicing. In this position you will report into the Head of Legal Germany.

About the role:

As Legal Counsel your main focus areas will be (not limited to) advising the business and management on banking- and financial law and regulation, supporting the business in developing products and services and supporting strategic business initiatives. Besides, you will be responsible for handling contracts with clients (mainly custody services) and to advise on AIFMD/UCITS related matters.

About you:

– Strong experience, gained in a law firm or the legal department of a financial institution.
– Fully qualified as a German lawyer (Volljurist:in)
– Developed extensive subject matter experience in major regulations (AIFMD, UCITS V, KAGB, DepotG, CRD IV, MiFID, etc.)
– Business fluency in German and English, any other language is considered as a plus
