Legal Counsel – HIGH GROWTH SaaS Business
We have a great opportunity for a mid-level Legal Counsel to join one of our tech clients who are a high-growth modern SaaS business.
Reporting to the Legal Director, this will be a SaaS focused role.
This is a newly created position to support an innovative technology company during a period of high growth.
You will be supporting the business’ newly-acquired, cutting-edge, software businesses and existing solutions offerings within a larger, highly successful, This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in emerging fields like Ai, XaaS, and the company’s hardware-centric solutions.
You will provide general transactional support on software as a service contracts and other various legal matters that support internal operations. The job involves providing guidance on a broad range of contracting matters primarily focused on domestic and international contracts for a growing B2B software-as-a-service business. You will partner with direct-sales business clients to enhance, implement, and institutionalise their contract review and tracking process. This job uses initiative and discretion in accomplishing complex negotiations, special projects, supporting legal administrative functions, contract management, risk management and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish work goals with minimum supervision.
You will be responsible for the structure and negotiation of high value business deals for sales of the company’s software and solution products across the EMEA region. You will be supporting multiple stakeholders as well as working directly with the sales team and other business partners. This role will also have a business element, with a focus on understanding the business goals of the company and being able to structure deals to meet these goals.
You must be a qualified solicitor between 2-6 years’ + PQE.
You must be either German speaking or German qualified.
Experience within the software and technology sector either in-house or in private practice is essential, as well as a working knowledge of SaaS agreements and negotiations.
This role is for a curious and pro-active individual who can work autonomously. You must be confident in collaborating with different departments across the business, and have an interest in working in a diverse, international environment across many different countries.
