Legal Counsel – Corporate – Financial Services

Our client is an Australia financial services institution who is seeking a corporate lawyer to join its legal team to provide advice on legal and regulatory issues associated M&A transactions and general corporate matters including intragroup arrangements, disclosures, corporate restructures and advice on application of Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.

The successful candidate will also draft and negotiation new and standard form commercial contracts and arrangements for group as well as review and negotiate third party contracts dealing IT, data, marketing and other general commercial agreements.

Applicants should be admitted as a legal practitioner in Australia and have three to six years post qualification experience either in-house or with private practice. Strong commercial and corporate legal skillsets and experience is essential and experience advising on M&A and/or funding and capital markets transactions considered favorably.
