About the role:

As in-house Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, direction and strategic partnership across a wide variety of legal and compliance matters across the EMEA business. Key responsibilities will include providing commercial legal advice across a range of internal service lines including Asset Services, Occupier Services, Integrated Facilities Management and Project & Development Services. Negotiating and drafting commercial supply contracts, including licensing, consulting and service agreements. Commercial property expertise as well as commercial contract expertise will be required for this role.

In addition to supporting the EMEA legal team and the wider global legal team, the successful candidate will advise on both contentious and non-contentious matters, as well as supporting on M&A and other corporate transactional work when appropriate.

About you:

  • The successful candidate will ideally have between 2 – 6 years PQE, having trained either in a reputable law firm or in-house.
  • Ideally you have experience of working in a commercial in-house environment but relevant experience in private practice will also be highly valued.
  • Previous experience gained in the Construction and/or Real Estate sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience of working on multi-jurisdictional matters with a geographically dispersed teams would be positive. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast-paced, complex and high performing environment.

Working Arrangements: Hybrid – 2-3 day in London office ideal (not open to fully remote workers)

Salary range: Highly dependent on PQE level and expereince. The company has clear slaary bandings for the role and experience within the legal team and can speak through this if you are interested in progressing.
