Our client focuses on global commercialization within the specialty pharmaceutical business. They are looking for a mid-level legal counsel to join their team, looking at legal matters across the Asia region.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a business delivering meaningful medical solutions, both traditional and innovative science for the next generation.

Role:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, partnering with various business functions to provide commercially sound legal advice
  • Active involvement in special projects across Asia from a legal standpoint, including management of external counsels where necessary
  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining efficiency of legal workflow, processes, contractual templates and standard terms
  • Monitoring regulatory and legal changes relevant to the business, ensuring compliance frameworks are robust and updated
  • Any other ad-hoc legal duties assigned including corporate secretarial etc.

Requirements:

  • LLB from a reputable University
  • Common-law qualified with minimum 5 PQE gained ideally from both private practice and in-house capacity in an MNC
  • Relevant industry experience spanning across Asia would be preferred
  • Prior exposure to Intellectual Property management and Data Privacy is required
  • Strong regulatory, compliance and risk management experience is a plus
  • Excellent drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills
  • Commercially sound business advisor who is a team player
  • Additional language capabilities in Mandarin or Korean is desirable
