Are you a Legal Counsel looking to work for an organisation that truly makes a difference?

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to join a well-established environmentally focused charity. You’ll benefit from good quality work, a friendly and newly built legal team, and a mostly remote role.

Your role will be extremely varied. You’ll have responsibility for:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts within the charity; a highly regulated sector
  • Supporting on all legal and regulatory matters; being both reactive and proactive
  • Keeping up to date with any changes to legislation that might affect the organisation and provide guidance accordingly
  • Working collaboratively with the legal team, and other internal stakeholders

This opportunity would best suit a junior lawyer; you may already be in-house or be looking to make your first move into an in-house team. It is essential that you’re passionate about working in the not-for-profit sector, and that you can tackle work with a pragmatic approach.

As this role is mostly remote, you’ll need to be a self-starter. You will work within a collaborative and supportive legal team, but must be confident getting stuck in and championing your personal development.
