My client one of the world’s largest alternative investment funds is looking to hire a financial regulation lawyer to join their established legal team in London.
The role will be reporting directly into the General Counsel who is based in New York and will be assisting in the day-to-day operation of the London Legal and Compliance department.
This is a broad ranging regulatory legal role where you will be primarily responsible for drafting policies and establishing and maintaining processes around regulations (e.g., GDPR, MIFID, AFIMD and SFRD), as well as reviewing fund marketing materials and marketing restrictions across Europe and Asia alongside ESG considerations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong regulatory lawyer who has experience with fund marketing rules and regulations under regulatory regimes of various non-US jurisdictions, including European, and Asian and MENA regimes. Ideally you will have 5 years plus post qualification experience with a top tier law firm or asset manager, preferably in the alternative investment funds space.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
