Great opportunity for a mid-level commercial lawyer to join a leading global technology business, who after successful M&A activity, are looking to expand their legal department.
You’ll be a commercially minded and strategic lawyer who is looking to progress your legal career in a supportive, collaborative environment and build your own domain within this tech business. You’ll work across the EMEA and APAC regions, giving your role an international focus.
About the role
Reporting to a lawyer based in Europe and working closely with other members of the global legal team, you will become a leader in your own right, primarily supporting clients across the EMEA and APAC region.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the key contact for the sales team,
Partnering cross-functionally with the company’s business teams,
Cooperating with privacy and security teams,
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with brand customers, agencies, publishers, and data provider partners, as well as other platforms in the space.
You’ll be roughly 3-5 PQE, preferably with experience working in-house for a tech company but commercial lawyers straight from private practice will be considered. You will have significant experience drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements, and similar complex service agreements.
You will also be skilled in advising on a broad range of the legal issues related to SaaS businesses. You’ll be business-savvy, analytical and driven to become a business stakeholder as well as creative in problem-solving and balancing risk.
European language skills are an additional bonus for this role as you’ll be working across the EMEA and APAC regions.
Alongside a highly generous remuneration you will receive ongoing career coaching as the company’s CLO is committed to growing lawyers into strategic and commercial business leaders.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
