About the Role
You will join a UK‑based in‑house legal team as a key contributor, supporting the business as a fully integrated strategic partner. The role is suited to a junior lawyer who is keen to develop commercially, working closely with stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, business‑focused legal advice that supports growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
This position offers broad exposure across commercial operations and the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation while developing core in‑house legal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to business colleagues.
- Support commercial and marketing teams on a range of legal issues, including contract, marketing, and competition matters.
- Enable informed decision‑making by ensuring legal advice is clearly communicated and appropriately embedded in business processes.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider legal function, contributing to shared knowledge and legal strategy.
- Deliver legal input and training to internal stakeholders to support compliant, effective ways of working.
Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
- Experience gained in private practice and/or an in‑house legal environment.
- The role is particularly suitable for candidates with 0-3 years’ post‑qualification experience, though newly qualified lawyers with relevant capability will also be considered.
