Our client is a leading global renewable energy developer with a growing portfolio of energy assets operating across multiple jurisdictions.

They are seeking a talented legal counsel to join their dynamic team. In this broad role, you will provide comprehensive legal support as you assist in management of its existing assets at various lifecycle stages (including both contentious and non-contentious aspects). In addition to the negotiation of new EPC and other works and services contracts.

About the Role:

· Provide advice on a wide range of development, construction and operational matters relating to the assets under ownership and/or management across multiple jurisdictions.

· Draft, review and negotiate construction and operation supply and services agreements, route to market / offtake arrangements (including PPAs), land agreements and other project related commercial contracts.

· Provide legal support and advice in the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts in connection with acquisition, divestment and development opportunities across multiple jurisdictions.

· Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Who You Are:

· A legal professional with at least 5+ years’ experience, preferably gained in a leading international law firm or in-house within the renewables sector.

· Experience of managing complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice in the renewables sector. As well as in cross-border transactions, debt financing and/or transactional acquisition with a strong understanding of international legal principles.

· Demonstrable depth of knowledge in and experience with commercial contracts relating to renewables projects and a familiarity with regulatory and permitting processes.

· Strong organisational and management skills with a proven ability to manage both external and internal stakeholders.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and influencing skills.

· Strategic thinking with a proactive “get things done” attitude.
