Our client, a peer-to-peer lender, is seeking a corporate commercial lawyer to support the General Counsel in developing the organisations's legal and compliance function.
This role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including; NDAs, shareholders agreements and broker agreements, reviewing and signing off on marketing materials, updating company policies and procedures (AML, CTF), assisting in providing compliance input, and advising on changes in the regulatory landscape.
The ideal candidate will be a lawyer with a minimum 3 years experience. Preferably you will have gained experience in financial services and be familiar with financial services regulation, although this is not essential. Previous experience in compliance, AML or privacy is also desirable but not essential.
You will be bright, switched on, and keen to develop your skillset across legal and compliance.
