Taylor Root has been exclusively instructed by a Swiss multinational Company in the inspection, testing, and verification services industry, to source a Legal Advisor for its office in Milan, Italy.
The Legal Advisor will report to the Chief Legal Officer in Geneva and will work in a global role as part of an international legal team. You will be providing day-to-day legal advice and support on all transactions and legal issues across the various businesses and functions of the group. You will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual documentation across different jurisdictions, and advise on associated legal risks. You will also advise on, and assist with, other matters, such as regulatory compliance, corporate governance, data protection, insurance, intellectual property and/or employment law.
Requirements:
– You will have a law degree from a recognized university in Europe and bar admission
– You will have 10+ years of relevant international corporate and law firm experience
– You have strong practical experience in multi-jurisdictional corporate and transactional work, including contract drafting and negotiation
– You will have excellent communication and legal drafting skills in English; other languages are a plus
– You will have the ability to work independently while reporting to the HQ legal team
