Law student or graduate seeking an alternative legal career?

Taylor Root is one of the world's leading legal recruitment businesses. With offices in Melbourne and Sydney together with our global network across Asia, US, Middle East and Europe, we partner with premier law firms as well as blue-chip corporations to source the very best legal talent.

The majority of our recruitment consultants have law degrees or are qualified lawyers who want to use their legal backgrounds a little differently.

We are looking for law student or graduate to work with our Sydney consultants across both in-house and private practice. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of work including;

  • liaising with lawyers to assess suitability for roles within Australia and overseas
  • assisting experienced consultants in briefing and preparing lawyers for interviews
  • candidate attraction and sourcing activities such as posting job adverts, LinkedIn promotions and market mapping
  • arranging interviews and meetings with lawyers

This is an ideal opportunity for a bright, engaging and motivated law graduate, or undergraduate, with strong communication skills who wishes to develop an alternative career away from legal practice. Part-time applicants who are willing to commit to a minimum of twenty hours per week will also be considered.

Taylor Root has a dynamic, collegiate culture and a very strong track-record of moving our consultants around our global network.

Working holiday visa holders should not apply unless they hold previous recruitment experience.
