Junior Partner – Dispute Resolution

Our client, a small full service law firm with regional offices, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispute Resolution and Litigation Partner or Special Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general commercial litigation, with expertise in resolving complex disputes in areas such as shareholder disputes, contract disputes and debt recovery, property disputes, and insurance disputes.

As a Dispute Resolution and Litigation Partner, you will be responsible for leading and managing a range of litigation matters on behalf of the firm’s broad and diverse clientele, which includes developers, corporations, accountants, liquidators, and private clients. You will be expected to provide strategic advice and guidance to clients, manage and mentor junior lawyers, and work collaboratively with other members of the firm to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in general commercial litigation, with a strong track record of successfully resolving complex disputes in areas such as shareholder disputes, contract disputes and debt recovery, property disputes, and insurance disputes.
• A thorough understanding of the litigation process, including the ability to manage discovery, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic advice and guidance to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• A proven ability to manage and mentor junior lawyers, including the ability to provide constructive feedback and support.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.
