Junior Company Secretary

This financial services organisation is looking for a Junior Company Secretary to join their team in London.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Convening and servicing board meetings (producing agendas, taking minutes, conveying decisions, handling meeting correspondence)
  • Advising directors on their duties and ensuring that they comply with corporate legislation and the articles of association of the company
  • Overseeing the onboarding/offboarding process for all employees.

Please note this is a hybrid type role and would encompass working across multiple aspects of the company with a wide variety of tasks.

This would perhaps suit someone who has been an office manager / executive assistant with experience in the usual cosec activities (organising board meetings, taking minutes, preparation of board packs and more) and looking to expand their knowledge in this area.
