IP – Patent Litigation, 3-5 PQE
Our client is a prestigious magic circle firm, with a leading and high-profile territory of patent litigation practice, across the UK and several other jurisdictions. They immerse themselves in work dominating innovative sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device, and telecommunications.
The team prides itself in representing leading multinationals in cross-border infringement, enforcement proceedings & parallel entitlement. The practice incorporates an incomparable commercial approach, involving devising and co-ordinating global case strategy.
As part of a role in a competitive and innovative industry, you will be engaging primarily in patent litigation practice, including:
- Analysis of patents to identify validity and infringement arguments
- Drafting pre-action correspondence and dealing with mediation/agreed settlements
- Preparing witness statements and expert reports
- Conducting legal research
- Supervising junior associates with the above
Ideally, you will have 3-5 years PQE, within an IP department specialising in patent and/or technical trade secrets litigation, with a desire to focus primarily on patents. Demonstrable experience mentoring junior associates is also key.
As such, a strong and competitive remuneration package will be offered in conjunction with a highly generous structured bonus for exceeding target hours. The firm also operate a hybrid working policy.
