Experienced Investment Funds Lawyer

Leading wealth management arm of global bank, looking to appoint an experienced funds lawyer to their Funds & Asset Management Legal Team in London.

Key responsibility for overseeing the formation, maintenance and distribution of a range of fund products. The role will be to manage legal, risk and compliance aspects of fund products, to advise the investment management team in relation to derivatives and develop strategies to manage regulatory changes affecting the funds and asset management business.

You will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have circa 4-10 years’ PQE with excellent technical knowledge and experience of UCITS and QIAIFs and key regulations applicable to funds, including AIFMD, MIFID, SFDR and SDR. Experience of advising funds on derivative transactions is also helpful.

This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong funds lawyer to join a friendly and collegiate legal team for their first In-House move or for a funds lawyer currently at a bank or an asset manager looking to make a move . Great work/life balance and package on offer.
