We have a new instruction from our client, an award winning Top 20 London City firm, for an investment funds lawyer to join the team on a fixed term contract basis for 3-6 months, potentially longer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years PQE in funds law and you will be able to join this firm asap, full time.
You will work with the investment funds team in developing its offering in relation to all types of investment funds. You will assist clients with the planning and development of new product propositions, as well as making changes to funds on an ongoing basis. There will be particular focus on the latest industry developments, UCITS IV, AIFMD and RDR. In addition, you will have the opportunity to advise on product development and the regulatory aspects of investment funds, including their cross border sale. Direct client contact is a key in this role and you will be dealing with the legal, compliance and business functions within organisations, and have the opportunity to contribute to industry debate.
The successful candidate will have approximately 1+ years' experience in funds matters; the firm will consider those with less or more experience, providing they meet the required competencies.
This is an excellent role to work amongst leaders in their field, so if you are available for a minimum of 3-6 months, and you feel your skill-set matches the required experience, then please do get in touch immediately.
If you are looking to work as a contractor or if you are considering your next move, then please do contact Hannah Martin at Taylor Root. I recruit lawyers into Private Practice firms on an interim and contract basis.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
