About the Role:
As Internal Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services to the Audit & Risk Committee and senior management. You will be responsible for the full audit lifecycle, from planning and execution to reporting and follow-up. Your work will focus on strengthening the organization’s governance, risk management, and control processes across all business areas, including financial, operational, reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, perform, and report on internal audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Contribute to the development of the annual internal audit plan.
- Manage the contribution of the internal audit team to the integrated assurance framework.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in internal audit within a large, complex organization or Big 4 firm – experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and audit committees.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or CIA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree.
