Our client, a global law firm, unrivalled in their area of specialism, is looking for an Insurance Litigation associate for 12 months on a fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate, with 5+ years PQE in insurance disputes, will be joining the Financial Risk team on a 12 month fixed term contract to work on Financial Services defence cases.
The firm's insurance litigation group advises its prestigious client base across a broad spectrum of complex matters including financial institutions, directors' and officers', crime, warranty claims, indemnity claims, professional indemnity and pension trustee liability policies. The team also defends financial and other professionals and also directors and officers including asset managers, independent financial advisers (IFAs), directors and officers and corporate service providers. The successful candidate will have a broad remit, and you will assist on cases of significant complexity which will include both coverage and defence matters.
This firm is looking for an individual with experience defending claims brought against a range of professionals and individuals including financial services professionals. Financial Institutions, D&O, Political risks and Crime coverage experience is preferable, but not essential.
This role is to start ASAP although candidates on up to 1 months notice will be considered, and will be suited to candidates with a minimum of 5+ years experience. The candidate must be able to commit to this role on a full time basis for 12 months; there is a strong possibility that this role might extend depending on workloads.
