A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified solicitor to join an exciting tech company in a newly created role. The focus is on advising the group's portfolio companies on a broad range of international commercial, corporate and project initiatives. The company invests and builds organisations that sit at the intersection of technology, creativity and human science, and wants you to join its ambitious global journey.
Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will assist in a broad range of international matters. Your responsibilities will include being a key point of contact for global stakeholders, drafting corporate and commercial documents, as well as assisting the business in their intellectual property strategy and the registration of trademarks and patents across the globe. You will have the opportunity to help shape the legal function of the company, and how it interacts with the business.
A qualified commercial solicitor with ideally 1-4 years PQE will excel in this role. Experience working in-house is desirable but not essential. Ideally, the candidate would have experience of negotiating SaaS contracts and some data protection knowledge. The role requires a commercially minded individual with international experience and the ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
You will receive supervision and training in the development of your legal career from the Group General Counsel who operates an open-door policy and rewards success with autonomy and responsibility. You will have the option of working remotely, as well as in the London Office. You will also receive a competitive salary and a bonus as well as company benefits. The company is committed to employee development and the multinational team will support your desire to grow as an individual and challenge you with new opportunities.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
