Our client is one of the preeminent offshore law firms, with a strong reputation around the world. They are now looking for a Senior Associate to join their market leading employment team in Bermuda to expand their capacity on the island.

The role will be responsible for all aspects of employment law and business related immigration work and, on a day to day basis. This includes a mixture of advisory work for the firm's existing client base and independent management of cases before the Employment Tribunal, Supreme Court of Bermuda, Human Rights Commission, and Immigration Appeals Tribunal. The successful candidate will also work with the Head of Employment on large matters and assist with management of junior fee earners.

To be considered for this position, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified as a barrister, solicitor, or attorney in Bermuda, the UK, Canada (excluding Quebec), New Zealand, or Australia
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience
  • Be able to demonstrate expertise in a range of employment law matters
  • Have experience working with international employer clients
